Simple place with pool. Escaped the cats (at family's house) so I could breathe better the next day. Love this place. Breakfast spread was great! Even had plenty of O. J. with waffle and cereal . Part of the experience. LoL Very cool staff that treated me like family.
My boss owns a place near here and brings to the area to work on it. We stay at this hotel during those trips. Stayed here 4 times and it's always been clean and quiet. Have a nice little breakfast area to get the morning going. They have a pool but I haven't used that. The prices are also very reasonable.
Whent there for a wedding reception and it was very nice to see a good friend of mine getting married,also i got impressed that most of people here are super friendly around town,just love the place!
Had to stop during a spring snowstorm. This is the best hotel I have stayed at in many years. The service was wonderful, the rooms are clean and HUGE, bathrooms nice. It is obviously an older hotel, needs some new paint here and there, things like that, but it was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was okay, check out was fast and simple, and prices are far lower than I would have expected for this great a place. If it wasn't for that storm, never would have stayed here, Am glad I did!

I had no issues while here. We came and went as we needed. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Since we had a busy weekend full of things to do, we didn't really do much outside of the room. I believe we only when to the pool for an hour, had the breakfast quick on one day, and one of us used the fitness room. The rooms were clean and stocked well. We requested more towels on day 2, and they did supply.
My only and biggest complaint is that the men's room on their main floor needs a better lock.
We stayed at the Darlington Inn for my grandmother's funeral and my entire extended family (and I) were thoroughly impressed and grateful for the hospitality the family who owns this hotel extends to their guests. It felt like a rare treat to experience that level of service and care. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, pillows fluffy. The pool and hot tub were clean and refreshing. My kids loved hitting up the vending machine and my extended family enjoyed long conversations in the breakfast area, long after breakfast was over. Thank you, Darlington Inn, for a wonderful stay. We are already planning our return.
